Rooftop Dreaming

Yesterday we were graced with a brief preview of spring–sunny skies, 70 degrees, and unfortunately…work. Luckily, a friend invited us over to her boyfriend’s building after work for sunset happy hour on his rooftop. At 47 floors up, it’s hard not to be amazed by the city–no matter how long you have lived here. I couldn’t stop taking pictures…here are just a few of my favorites from the evening (all taken with my iphone and various camera apps).
The chill returned today, but hopefully spring will be here to stay soon.

So, here I am thinking it was great on the 11th floor in Knoxville overlooking downtown and taking photos through dirty windows (which actually produced some cool images) and there you are on the 47th floor in NYC knockin’ us dead with shots from your iphone…very nice Miss Holm, very nice…
